Flemington, NJ- Tamara Jane Lizzi, "Our Hero and Angel from Above" joined God on Saturday, April 16, 2005 entering into eternal rest at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. Born in Plainfield, NJ on November 10, 1979 to her adoring parents Leonard & Barbara (Bennett) Lizzi, Tamara was a loving sister to her admirable brother Lenny Lizzi.
A 1998 Graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Tamara then continued her education at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she graduated and received her Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandising.
Tamara was an inspiration to all as an advocate for Colon Cancer. Although she lost her long battle to Colon Cancer, the strength and courage she showed lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Tamara was predeceased by her loving maternal grandfather George Bennett.
Tamara will be deeply missed and always cherished by her beloved parents Leonard and Barbara (Bennett) Lizzi of Flemington, her adored brother Lenny Lizzi of Flemington, NJ. She also leaves behind her loving & devoted boyfriend Carl MacDonald of Flemington with whom she lived, her dear grandparents, Louise & Joseph Lizzi of Pittstown, NJ and Jane Bennett of North Plainfield, NJ and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all of whom were very special to her.
Relatives and friends are invited to join with the family on Thursday, April 21, 2005 for a 10:00am Funeral Liturgy at St. Magdalen's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Tamara will be laid to rest at St. Magdalen's Cemetery. Visitation will be at Countryside Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to: The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, 120 Albany Street, Tower 2 5th Floor, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 would be greatly appreciated.
