Flemington, NJ- Thelma S. (nee Seals) Kentnor, 89, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington with loving family by her side. Born in Flemington, daughter of the late Asa D. And Eva May (Danbury) Seals she was a lifelong resident of Flemington having resided on Manchester Road in Senior Housing for many years before entering Hunterdon Care Center.

Thelma had worked for nine years at Tirpok Cleaners' in Flemington prior to retirement. She was a member the Flemington United Methodist Church and enjoyed being a member of their choir. Having had a passion for music and singing she attended the Flemington Choir School during her teenage years. Thelma enjoyed spending time with family.

Besides her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her husband John; and 13 brothers and sisters.

Thelma is survived by five children, John M. Kentnor and his wife Deb of Athens, GA, Warren R. Kentnor of New York, Myron Kentnor of Tallahassee, FL, Paul Kentnor of New Jersey, Sandra Lynn Kentnor of Newberry, SC; brother, Roland K. Seals of Sayerville, PA; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins especially her beloved niece and caregiver, Shirley McPherson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, June 29, from 10-10:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Committal words and interment will follow at Sand Brook Cemetery in Stockton, NJ.
