Whitehouse Station, NJ –Tony Leonardi, 36, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Born in Raritan Township, he resided in Whitehouse Station all of his life.

During his youth, he participated in football, baseball, and soccer through Readington Township athletic groups. Tony was a graduate of Hunterdon Central and was active on the school wrestling team. Later he became a wrestling official for the state of New Jersey. Tony was a construction worker, having owned and operated T. LEO Construction and was co-owner of Leonardi Builders Inc. in Whitehouse Station. His passion for sports made him a fan of the New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers.

Tony was predeceased by his dear father Leonard Leonardi in June of 2000 and this past February he lost his beloved dog Red.


Tony is survived by his devoted mother Annmarie (Eshelman) Leonardi with whom he resided; his loving brother Lenny Leonardi of Whitehouse Station; and by his many aunts, uncles and cousins each of whom will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 beginning 10:30am at the Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Tony will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery in Easton, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 3-6pm and on Monday from 10:00am until service time.
