Neshanic Station, NJ – Valentin Hernandez, 78, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at his residence in the Neshanic Station section of Branchburg with his family by his side. Born in Colombia to his late parents Genaro and Epifania Hernandez, he resided in Elizabeth before settling in Neshanic Station 14 years ago.

Valentin was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. He was a master welder for Weldotron in Piscataway for many years retiring in 1999.

Valentin leaves behind his devoted wife Maria (Rodriguez) Hernandez with whom he joined hands in marriage 55 years ago, his loving daughter Nubia Suarez of Neshanic Station, and loving son Uriel Hernandez of West Palm Beach, FL, and his dear sister Cenobia Hernandez of Colombia. He will be sadly missed by his six adored grandchildren and his precious great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 beginning 9:00am from Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. Committal words will be held at the Somerset Hills Crematory chapel in Basking Ridge. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Monday from 8:30am until service time.
