Three Bridges

Obituary

Victoria Todd Hanbicki née Leis, 76, of Three Bridges NJ passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2015. Born in Delaware in 1939, she moved with her parents George Leis and Clarissa Todd Leis and younger brother David to Summit NJ in 1949 to be with her grandmother Emily Todd Brennan, who was a source of love and strength for Victoria for many years. After attending Pratt Institute in the Bronx for architecture, and working at Dupont, she received a wrong phone number call from Richard Hanbicki, who soon became her husband. Her years were filled with her children, her books, her cats, quilting and sewing, art, opera and music and she in turn filled all those around her with love. She was ever gracious, charming, capable of putting all at ease and always the lady. A soft spoken rebel, a passionate soul and an always compassionate heart.

She is survived by her 5 loving children and their families: Jonathan Hanbicki of Three Bridges NJ, Alexa and Nisim Parliyan of Hampton NJ, Aubrey Hanbicki and Sarah Hull of Washington DC, Benjamin and Alesha Hanbicki of Doylestown PA and Binka Hanbicki and Tim McLaughlin of Charlotte NC, and grandchildren Kyle, Deiter, Jazzy, Tali, Ben Jr. and Steven. Services will be privately held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tabby's Place in Ringoes NJ, or Market Street Mission of Morristown.

Mom, you touched our hearts and we will hold you forever in ours.
