Obituary

Victoria (Vivian) Smith, maiden name Cavanaugh, entered into Eternal Life quietly and peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 19, 2021, surrounded by family and her friend and caregiver, Cynthia Coppola-Beyea.

Victoria was married to Steven T. Smith (predeceased) for 64 years.  Victoria had two siblings, Ann and John Cavanaugh (both predeceased).  She gave birth to four sons, Steven, John, James (predeceased), and Matthew.  She is survived by four grandchildren, Jill Winters, Brian Smith, Lori Cejnowski, Andrew Smith, and one great-grandchild, William Best, as well as Victoria's Sons' spouses, Janice, Theresa, Andrea, and Andrew's mother, Catalina Smith.

Victoria grew up in Roselle, NJ, and had established a family construction and real estate company in the area.  Eventually she and her husband retired and moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida.  Victoria and Steven eventually moved to Flemington in the 1993 to be closer to family.

As a daily communicant at St. Magdalen's RC Church, she lived her faith in spirit and action.  She was well loved by her church community and is remembered as an angel of God on earth.

Services will be held at Countryside Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25, 2021, beginning with visitation at 8 to 10 am, funeral mass at St. Magdalen's at 11 am, and entombment immediately following at St. Magdalen's Mausoleum.  Due to Covid-19, there will be no repast held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Wounded Warriors Project, 370 7th Avenue, Suite 1802, NY, NY, 10001.
