Obituary

Flemington, NJ—Wai Kam (Chan) Lum, 85, entered eternal life on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at home with her loving and supportive family by her side. Born in China, daughter of the late Wah and Ming (Chiu) Chan, she resided in New York City and California before settling to Flemington eight years ago.



Many years ago Wai had worked as a seamstress in numerous tailor shops around New York City. She was primarily a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of family.



Wai leaves behind her beloved husband Lai Lum; loving children, sons Larry, Benson, Steven, and Paul Lum and daughter Anita Ling. She will be deeply missed by her dear brother John Chan; eleven cherished grandchildren and a precious great grandson.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, August 22 from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. Memorial contributions may be made in Wai's memory to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
