Flemington, NJ—William Stephen "Bill" Harcarik, 81 entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ with loving family by his side. Born in Somerville, NJ, son of the late Stephen and Mary (nee Po) Harcarik, he was a resident of Neshanic Station before settling to Flemington in 1982.

Bill was honorably discharged from the United States Navy having faithfully served his country from 1956 to 1962 and proudly served on the USS Hornet. He retired after twenty-seven years with the Bridgewater Police Department as a Lieutenant. Bill belonged to the Reaville Sportsman Club of Flemington, VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge and his local PBA. He also loved spending time at the beach.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 38 years, Anne Marie (nee Kennek) Harcarik, with whom he joined hands in marriage on September 6, 1980; two loving sons, Matthew Harcarik of Flemington, NJ and Michael Harcarik of Branchburg, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08835 on Friday, May 31 from 4-7 p.m. and on Saturday, June 1 from 9-9:45 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1 beginning 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 16 E. Somerset Street, Raritan, NJ 08869. Interment will follow at St. Magdalen Cemetery, 94 North Main Street, Flemington. In lieu of flowers Bill's family would appreciate that you perform random acts of kindness in his memory.
