Delaware Township, NJ – William W. "Bill" Inkrote, Jr., 59, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 16, 2007 at his residence with his loving and supportive family by his side. Born in Sunbury, PA to his late parents William W. and Dorothy (Erdman) Inkrote, Sr., he had been a resident of Delaware Township most of his life.
Bill was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force having faithfully served his country from July 1965 until February 1969. He retired from AT&T based in Chicago, IL after many years of employment. He spent his retirement as a bus driver for Hunterdon Central High School. He was an amateur radio operator and a member of MARAC, FRC, and NJDXA. His call was "K2NJ". In his spare time he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Some of his fondest memories came from traveling with his wife Gail in their RV.
Bill will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of thirty-one years Gail (Souza) Inkrote, his loving children Heather, Holly, Tracy, and Scott, and his adored grandchildren, granddaughter Melek and grandson Kartal.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 beginning 10:00am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 with Pastor Galen Goodwin from Clinton United Methodist Church officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday, July 19, 2007 between the hours of 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Friday from 9:30am until service time. Bill will be laid to rest at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. At the family's request, please do not send flowers.
