Flemington, NJ—William "Bill" Joseph Kamon, Jr., 67, entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ with loving family by his side. Born in Passaic, NJ, son of the late William and Stella (Nitek) Kamon, Sr., he grew up in Clifton, NJ and the resided in West Milford, NJ and Middletown, NJ before settling to Flemington in 1990.

Bill was a graduate of Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey and attained his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Villanova University in Radnor Township, PA. He worked most of his life with Merck in Whitehouse Station, NJ as a procurement manager. After retirement he went on to work with Novartis and TD Bank. Bill loved the New York Mets. He was an amateur astronomer; and enjoyed photography and reading. He was given great joy by his two miniature schnauzers, Piper and Parker.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Janice Lynn (Madden) Kamon with whom he joined hands in marriage on October 17, 1971; loving daughter Kerry and her husband Mike Czepiel of Sunnyvale, CA and son, James Kamon; dear sister, Christine and her husband Bill Grant and their children, Kelly, Kevin, and Michael and his wife Amy and their children; dear sister-in-law, Joyce and her husband Richie DeBellonia and their two daughters, Lori and her husband Alfonse Romeo and their children and Lisa and her husband Joe Vergona and their children, Victoria, Ally, and Christina; dear cousins, John Nitek, Robert Skorupski, and Peter Skorupski; and loving aunt, Ceil Sudol. He will be deeply missed by a precious grandson, Dylan and a grandchild on the way.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, March 30 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 31 from 10-11 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Joe officiating and on Tuesday, March 31 beginning 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with committal words to follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Chapel in Basking Ridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
