Branchburg, NJ – William E. "Bill" Willis, 62, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at home with loving family by his side. Born in Newark, NJ, son of the late William E. Willis and June Ellen (nee Webster) Simmons, he grew up in the Bradley Gardens section of Bridgewater, NJ, prior to residing in Branchburg in the early 1980's.
Bill was a graduate of Bridgewater West High School, Class of 1978. He was owner of Armour Lock & Safe Company in Raritan, NJ and Dorell Locksmiths also in Raritan. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his daughters, as well as traveling the world with his girlfriend. Bill could be often found outside QuickChek with a cigar and coffee in hand enjoying the company of friends. He always gave of himself to others, putting their needs before his own. Bill really loved his fellow man and conversing with others. His intellect and wit will be greatly missed. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed clay pigeon shooting. He also enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle. He belonged to the North Branch Reformed Church in Bridgewater.
Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his second wife, Cynthia Chapman Willis; and sister, Judith Estok.
Bill is survived by his loving daughters, Jessica and her husband, Adam Cesario of Readington, NJ and Alexandra and her husband, Tyler Cuffie of Branchburg, NJ; his caring girlfriend, Amy Price of Tampa, FL; his first wife, Sharon (nee Hresan) Willis; dear siblings, Amy Beth Willis and her fiancé, Hunter Holliday, Corey Willis and his fiancé, Janet Marcincavage, and Frank Simmons and his fiancé, Melissa Vaughan. He will be deeply missed by four cherished grandchildren, Dominic, Olivia, Savannah and Austin; adored niece and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited and strongly encouraged to attend both the viewing and funeral services at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, January 24 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Branch Reformed Church in Bridgewater. Committal words and interment will follow at Springdale Methodist Church Cemetery in Warren, NJ. Repass to follow.
