Xinfan Liu, age 93, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at a nursing home in Shanghai, China, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, China, she spent most of her life in Shanghai.

Xinfan treasured every moment spent with her family and devoted herself wholeheartedly to their care and well-being. Her family meant everything to her. She was known for her kind and gentle heart, unwavering dedication, and strong work ethic, always doing whatever was necessary to support those she loved. She also had a deep passion for singing, which brought joy to both herself and those around her.

Xinfan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Yiyan Wang, on November 28, 2013; by her brother and two sisters; and by her son-in-law, Michael Kruel.

She is survived by her loving children, Han Lin Wang of Shanghai, China; Heping Wang of Edison, New Jersey; Lily Kruel of Flemington, New Jersey; and Lijia Wang of Edison, New Jersey; as well as her two dear sisters and brother. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Jennifer Kruel, Linyu Xu, Donald Wang, and Xinting Wang, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her love, warmth, and presence.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 US-202, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 3-4 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 3, from 10-10:30 a.m. The funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, May 31, at 3:30 p.m. with eulogies shared by family.
