John R. Zalewski, Sr.
Funeral Director, NJ Lic. # 2820
John "Jack" R. Zalewski, Sr. was born in Kearny, NJ and raised in the Fairmount Section of Tewksbury Township. He attended North Hunterdon Regional High School for two years and graduated Piscataway High School in 1961.
Jack served his apprenticeship at Smith & Smith Funeral Homes in Newark and Springfield and Memorial Funeral Home in Plainfield. A 1964 graduate of the American Academy of Funeral Service in New York City, Jack became a licensed funeral director in June of 1965.
From 1966-1968, Jack faithfully served his country in the United States Army, Graves Registration, having spent eighteen months in Germany. Upon leaving the service, he continued as a licensed funeral director with Memorial Funeral Home and graduated from the National Funeral Director Management School in Evanston, Illinois. He also worked for Conroy Funeral Home in Bound Brook, then managed James W. Conroy Funeral Home in South Plainfield for seven years until purchasing Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville, NJ in 1979.
Jack is a member of the Middlesex-Somerset Funeral Directors Association in which he held all offices, the NJ State Funeral Directors Association of which he served as President from 1989-1990, and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association.
Under his leadership, Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home was only the second funeral home in the State of New Jersey to receive the prestigious NFDA Pursuit of Excellence Award at the National Convention in 1985. He is a member of the Manville Business & Professional Association and has served as their second president. A member of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, former member of the Hillsborough Rotary Club and an honorary Alumni of the Orchard Lake Seminary in Orchard Lake Michigan. He is an honorary Life Member in the Manville PBA Local #236.
Jack is a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church and is a member of the churches Men's Club and along with his wife, Karen Ann (Collins) Zalewski they serve on the Capital Campaign Committee for the church. They are both Eucharistic Minsters.
Jack's love for the outdoors have led him to belonging to the Ace Sportsman Club and the Seneca Rod & Gun Club.
Jack's desire to serve families in "their time of need" is his daily reward. "I love my profession and pray that God grants me many more years of service to those in need."

Sharon Ann Zalewski
Funeral Director, NJ Lic. # 4003
Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Sharon was a 1986 graduate of Immaculata High School in Somerville. Since then, she has worked side by side with her father Jack in the family business. She received her Certificate of Proficiency in Funeral Service from Mercer County Community College, New Jersey's only Funeral Service Education Program and earned her Practitioner of Mortuary Science Degree in 1991. Sharon is also a Licensed Life Insurance Producer to assist those wishing to prefinance funerals.
Sharon is a member of the Middlesex-Somerset Funeral Directors Association and the NJ State Funeral Directors Association, a member of the Manville Business & Professional Association and of the Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce. She is a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges and has served as Secretary of the Manville Business & Professional Association and is a past member of the Flemington Rotary Club.
Although dedicated to both her family's businesses; Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville and Countryside Funeral Home in Three Bridges and her devotion to the families she serves, in her spare time she enjoys traveling & spending cherished times with her adored nephews Zachary, Aiden and Dylan.

Sharon Ann Zalewski
Funeral Director, NJ Lic. # 4003

John was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, and subsequently spent 13 years of his childhood in Dunellen, New Jersey. In 1983, he and his family relocated to the Neshanic Station area of Branchburg, New Jersey.
John attended Immaculata High School in Somerville, New Jersey, graduating with the class of 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Farleigh Dickinson University located in Madison, New Jersey, where he graduated in 1993. In 2006, he achieved Cum Laude honors from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City, New York, and subsequently earned his funeral director's license in New Jersey.
John held the position of president of the Manville Business & Professional Association from 2013 to 2016. He is member with both the Middlesex & Somerset County Funeral Directors Association and the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association. Currently, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Manville Area Federal Credit Union.
John takes pleasure in volunteering at different local churches and community events throughout the area. He is a member with Zarephath Christian Church located in Zarephath, New Jersey. John possesses a strong enthusiasm for sports and exhibits a profound interest in the arts. He delights in both watching and attending games for the New York Mets, New York Jets, New Jersey Devils, and the New York Knicks, in addition to Supercross events, concerts, and theatrical performances. Moreover, John finds joy in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding.
